Rights activists: Crimes of the Turkish occupation army, its mercenaries continue in Afrin

Human rights activists confirmed the continuation of the crimes of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries against the people of occupied Afrin. Activists have documented a series of crimes including murder, kidnapping, torture, and building settlements.

Saturday's report by the Afrin Activists Network, mentioned the martyrdom of a number of civilians in occupied Afrin, including women and children, at the hands of the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries. In addition to the kidnapping of dozens of people and torturing them.

The report, which covers June 7-19, documented the dates and locations of a series of crimes, as well as the names and photos of dozens of civilians who were murdered, kidnapped and tortured.

According to the report, 8 citizens, including 2 children, 3 women and 4 elderly people, were martyred during that period monitored by network activists.

The report also documented that the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries kidnapped 22 civilians, two children and 3 elderly people, in addition to kidnapping a woman.

The report also confirmed that 4 elderly civilians, including a woman, were beaten and tortured by the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries in Afrin and its countryside during the same period.

 With regard to the continuation of crimes of demographic change, the report confirmed that the Turkish occupation state continued to build 4 settlements for the mercenary families there.

According to the report, the Turkish occupation authorities and their affiliated Brotherhood associations are continuing to complete building two settlement villages in the mountains surrounding the villages of Kafr Safra and Hajj Hasna in Jandersse district funded by Qatari associations and Turkish institutions.

The Turkish occupation and its mercenaries also started building a settlement center in the vicinity of Jagalo village in Shih district, comprising about 600 rooms.

In addition to building a settlement project funded by the Qatari Red Crescent and implemented by the Sham Charity Association, one of the Muslim Brotherhood’s arms in Shera district of occupied Afrin.

The report documented a series of theft crimes committed by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, including the seizure of agricultural land and the theft of livestock.
