About 355 families displaced from Jabal Al-Zawiya due to recent military escalation

Areas of Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib witnessed a continuous movement of displacement by the people as a result of the recent escalation in the area. About 355 families were displaced for fear of the escalation of military operations between the forces of the Damascus government and Turkey's mercenaries.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights monitored the displacement of people from areas in Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib, towards safer areas, after the recent escalation in the area, which caused civilian casualties.

Over the past week, the areas of Jabal al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib have witnessed the displacement of about 355 families, estimated at 1,500 people, for fear of the escalation of military operations in the area, and the almost daily missile bombardment of the Damascus government forces.

The towns and villages within Jabal Al-Zawiya in the southern countryside of Idlib witnessed, this morning, Sunday morning, missile shelling carried out by the forces of the Damascus government, without information received about casualties.
