Dozens killed, injured in Afrin shelling, SDF denies any connection in the incident

In the early evening of yesterday, rocket missiles targeted the center of the occupied city of Afrin, in addition to the former Avrin hospital, which is being taken by the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries in the name of Al-Shifa.

Some 19 civilians were targeted and more than 23 injured, according to recent information from occupied Afrin.

In response to the targeting of the center of the occupied city of Afrin, the Turkish occupation army and its mercenaries stationed in the occupied areas targeted the villages in the districts of Sherawa and Shara, as well as Shahba canton's villages by more than 300 rocket shells.

In al-Shahba canton, the Turkish occupation deliberately targeted the vicinity of the largest base of the Russian forces in the village of al-Wahsheya in al-Shahba canton, in addition to targeting the vicinity of Tal Rifaat district and the villages of Ain Digna and Samouqa.

The child Issa Mohammad Issa, from the village of Aqiba in Sherawa district, was wounded by the Turkish occupation’s bombing of the mentioned village.

Some media outlets affiliated with the Turkish occupation and mercenaries tried to attribute the bombing of the center of the occupied city of Afrin and the former Avrin hospital to the Syrian Democratic Forces and the Afrin Liberation Forces.

The Director of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) Media Centre, Farhad Shami, denied in a press release to the media that their forces had anything to do with the bombing of the occupied city of Afrin. We are deeply saddened by the loss of innocent lives and unreservedly condemn the attack that targeted the hospitals is a violation of international law.
