The people of Al-Jazira region demanded that the Kurdistan Democratic Party withdraw its forces from the People’s Defense Forces (HPG) points, and stressed that their presence in those areas amounts to a betrayal of the Kurdish people in general.

Today, tens of thousands of people from the cities, districts and towns of Hasaka and Qamishlo cantons took part in the " Dignity March Against Occupation and Betrayal", within the city of Qamishlo, to support the resistance of the Kurdistan freedom movement forces in the face of the Turkish occupation policies and their supporters, and to call for the Kurdistan Democratic Party to withdraw its forces from the areas of Southern Kurdistan.

During the march, the participants expressed their position regarding the Turkish attacks, and stressed the need to harness all energies to support the resistance of the People’s Defense Forces.

Sharvan Badini, one of the young men participating in the Dignity March, denounced the Turkish attacks on the areas of Başûr Kurdistan, and called on all the honorable Kurdish people to join the resistance and stand in the face of the Turkish occupation attacks. He also called on the Peshmerga forces not to be dragged behind the line of treachery, and to stand by the People’s Defense Forces to repel Turkish Attacks.

Shervan Badini stressed, "It is the forces affiliated with the Kurdistan Democratic Party that open the way for the Turkish occupation state to launch attacks."

Sadiq Mamdouh, the man in his sixties and father of a martyr, addressed the Peshmerga forces by saying: "We demand our Peshmerga brothers to leave the areas of the People’s Defense Forces," and stressed: "The People’s Defense Forces defend the Kurdish people and their dignity, and have made great sacrifices for the Kurdish people through their long struggle."

In turn, the artist Ibrahim Fiqh sent a message to all the Kurdish people, saying: "We demand and call on all the Kurdish people in any spot to escalate the struggle against the Turkish occupation army."

Addressing all Kurdish artists to put their art at the service of the resistance of fighters of the People’s Defense Forces, "We are now exposed to a war of extermination, and we must harness all our energies in the face of the war directed against us now."

Zalal Badour the mother of the martyr Jamshid and the wife of the martyr Ibrahim, demanded the Kurdistan Regional Government and the Kurdistan Democratic Party to withdraw the Peshmerga forces from the Legitimate Defense Zones, and said: "We reject the presence of the Peshmerga forces in the Guerilla areas."
