With massive crowds... Dignity March against Occupation and Betrayal begins

Tens of thousands of people from the cities, districts, and towns of Hasaka and Qamishlo cantons participate in the Dignity March, to support the Kurdistan freedom movement forces and their historic resistance against the policies of the Turkish occupation and their supporters, and to call on the Kurdistan Democratic Party to withdraw its forces from Southern Kurdistan.

Since the 23^rd of last April, the Turkish occupation has launched genocidal and occupation attacks on the areas of Zap, Matina and Avashin, which are part of the Legitimate Defense Zones, while the Kurdish popular response to the attacks of the Turkish occupation continues, amid widespread popular discontent with the government of Başûr Kurdistan.

The march will be attended by members of the Mesopotamian Movement for Democratic Culture and Art, dressed in folkloric dress, and a number of members of the Liberal Party, in addition to members of the Syriac Union Party, Roj Democratic Party in Syria, Star Congress, Democratic Union Party, Future Syria Party, in addition to civil community institutions.

The marchers took the main street leading to Amuda Street and toured the neighborhoods and streets of the city of Qamishlo, amid loud voices and slogans supporting the resistance of the Kurdistan freedom movement forces to the attacks of the Turkish occupation.

The march is covered with the flags of the People’s Defense Forces, the Star Congress, the Democratic Union Party, the Free Women's Units - Star, in addition to raising pictures of the leader Abdullah Ocalan and pictures of the martyrs.

In addition, the participants carried banners that read " Dignity March against Occupation and Betrayal treachery", "Long Live Resistance of the Guerrilla", and "There Is no Life Without Leader", "Guerilla Is Future and Dignity of Kurdistan."

Till the march reaches March 12 Stadium in Qamishlo, the participants will gather in the square next to the stadium.
