Clan notables in al-Darbasiyah district confirmed that the Turkish occupation seeks to provoke internal fighting among the Kurds, and they also called on the Kurdish political parties to unite and "work for the liberation of the four parts of Kurdistan."

Since the 23rd of last April, the Turkish occupation army has launched attacks on the legitimate defense zones in Southern Kurdistan, while the Turkish occupation seeks to drag the Kurds into infighting by inciting the Kurdistan Democratic Party in its war against the freedom fighters.

Notables of clans in al-Darbasiyah district condemned the attacks of the Turkish occupation army and called on the Kurdish parties to unite to confront the occupation.

The well-known Omri Clan, Rashad Haj Ali, denounced the Turkish attacks on Southern Kurdistan and said: "What happened in Başûr (Southern Kurdistan) several days ago was caused by the Turkish occupation to provoke Kurdish-Kurdish fighting."

He added: "We, the notables of the Kurdish clans in the district of al-Darbasiyah and in the four parts of Kurdistan, will not allow fighting to occur among the Kurdish people. On the contrary, we will work for the unification of the Kurdish ranks and the liberation the four lands of Kurdistan."

Haj Ali stressed that the Kurdish people are attached to the soil of their land, despite being exposed to many massacres, "but their attachment to their land and cause is increasing year after year, so the Turkish state and all the countries that support it in committing massacres against us should know very well that the Kurdish people will not leave his land, but we will fight to the last breath.”

At the conclusion of his speech, Haj Ali called on the Kurdish parties to take into consideration the suffering of the Kurdish people throughout their history, and to work for the interest of the Kurdish people and to "unite their side to reach a free Kurdistan."

The Haj Khader Ramo, also spoke about the issue and said that the Turkish state targets the Kurds wherever they are, "because the Turkish occupation is the first and last enemy of the Kurdish people."

Ramo indicated that the Turkish occupation is launching an attack on the lands of Southern Kurdistan using all heavy weapons in front of the Southern Kurdistan Regional Government, and demanded "the regional government to clarify its position against these attacks because Turkey is bombing on a daily basis the people of southern Kurdistan."

At the end of his speech, Ramo stressed that they do not want the Kurdish fighting, as happened previously, but "they want peace among the Kurdish people. The Kurdish people should not be drawn into the strife that the Turkish occupation creates among the Kurdish people."
