Notables in Deir-ez-Zor 's eastern countryside: We will not allow our security to be tampered with

Notables and Sheikhs in the eastern countryside of Deir ez-Zor denounced the attempts of sedition in Manbij, and said: "From the land of Deir ez-Zor, we assure those who are seeking to spread the destabilization in the region, we will not allow anyone to tamper with the security of our regions and the blood of our martyrs, and we support the Syrian Democratic Forces."

Notables, sheikhs and members of Deir-ez-Zor countryside councils made a statement, in front of the People's Assembly in the town of Hajin, which was delivered by the Sheikh of the Salman Clan, Salah Al-Ismail.

The beginning stated: "We, the notables, councils and institutions of the Eastern regions condemn and decry what regional intelligence is doing through its mercenary to create chaos and confusion in north and east Syria, which enjoys security, stability and freedom."

He noted that "what is happening in Manbij, today, is a clear demonstration to the world of the interventions of those States in our regions, and from this place we call on the whole world to curb those groups or States that are trying to create chaos and confusion in our regions."

"We will stand together behind our government (referring to AANES) and the military leadership of the Syrian Democratic Forces."

The statement concluded: "We are fully aware of all the schemes against our people in north and east Syria, so we reaffirm that we are one people and one destiny against any chaotic interventions in north and east Syria in general."
