Women organized themselves out of faith in their freedom

The words of representatives of the institutions and women's councils participating in the conference confirmed that during the revolution, women organized themselves believing in the causes of their emancipation.

On Tuesday morning, the founding conference of the "Zenobia Women Gathering" was launched in Al-Tajj Hall in Raqqa city, with the participation of 150 delegates representing political and military forces, representatives of the Circassian and Turkmen Association, in addition to feminist figures from Tabqa, Raqqa and Deir Ezzor areas.

After the welcoming speech by the Conference Preparatory Committee, many words were made on behalf of the political delegations participating in the conference.

Siham Daoud, Secretary-General of the Future Syria Party, said in her speech: "There is a real revolutionary movement in north and east Syria in which Syrian women have proven their worth in all political, cultural, military, economic and administrative arenas and fields.

The speech of the Kongra Star Coordination of North and East Syria was given by the Member Rayhan Loqo and she said that Arab women played a fundamental, effective and active role in the revolution and were able to put a distinct imprint in it with their still-going organization, noting that the struggle, resistance and courage of women contributed to preserving the gains of the revolution and achieving their freedom.

We hope that the conference to come up with decisions that establish a new stage

In the speech of the martyrs' families of north and east Syria, delivered by the Member Tekushin Mohammed: "Women have organized themselves under one administration and one decision to continue their struggle with full force and pride. Women are the ones who represent the will of a free society."

Tekushin Mohammed hoped that this conference would rise to the required level by taking the appropriate decisions to empower women and give them free thought.

On behalf of the Women’s Council of North and East Syria, Nasra Abaaka delivered a speech in which she emphasized that the women's revolution in north and east Syria is a revolution for all Syrian women."

We must unite in the face of the occupation

On behalf of the Circassian component in Manbij, the Member Siham Hussein said: "We do not care difficulties, and we must unite with all our strength in the face of occupation and fascism to protect our revolution, which is known as the women's revolution."

In turn, the Member Jawhar Al-Darda said in a speech given in the name of the Turkmen component, "Women formed the vanguard of society and are the basis of its emancipation, and they followed the path of the leader Abdullah Ocalan who devoted his life to the liberation of oppressed peoples in the Middle East and gave women their role in society."

In her speech, Jawhar Al-Darda hoped that the conference would result in serious decisions to build women's struggle, train them, and liberate the occupied territories and women.
