Anonymous assailants attack HDP building before Turkish police

The HDP blamed the Turkish government for the attack launched on their party's public building on Thursday night.

The Leadership Organ of the HDP announced that last Thursday night, there was an attack on the party's public building.

The Body said in a statement commenting on the attack, "A group of three people attacked on Thursday night at 05:00 am the party’s public building, as the CCTV footage shows that the police officers who were guarding the building at two points did not intervene to prevent this attack, rather, they assisted them, and the assailants attacked with ease in front of the police present in that area, and so far they have not been arrested, and this shows what the aim of the attack was and by whom did this attack happen."

Regarding the responsibility for the attack, the statement said: "Despite the imposed curfew, this attack occurred on the first day of Eid ul-Fitr and against the third largest party in Turkey, and the government bears responsibility for this attack, which extends its life by spreading chaos and always targeting our party."
