Manbij - Salwa Abdel Rahman

The Turkish occupation state continues its hostile policy towards the peoples of the region, especially in the areas it occupies in Syria, as it intends to pursue a policy of Turkification through the youth, children and school students, to create long-term extremist ideological generations that are compatible with their agendas in the region.

about this, the co-chair of the Education Committee in Manbij, Suhail Wali, said, "Turkey, since its occupation of the regions of Syria, has been practicing violations against the people of the region, through a policy of Turkification and demographic change, and the imposition of dealing in the Turkish currency."

Suhail Wali indicated that Turkey is pursuing a policy of Turkification, brainwashing and planting extremist ideas in the minds of the people in the areas it occupies from Syria, by introducing Turkish curricula and education in schools.

Wali added, "There are several and repeated visits by Turkish officials to the region, the last of which was a visit by an official of the Turkish extremist nationalist movement to a school in the occupied Syrian city of Al-Bab where Turkish flags were raised."

In addition to the demographic change, Suhail Wali pointed to the Turkish occupation’s intention to spread extremist ideology in schools, which leads to brainwashing of students and the young class in particular and accustoming them to extremist ideology, and this thus will lead in the future to a state of terrorism and intolerance in the areas occupied by the Turkish state in Syria".

He believed that this would cause "a real disaster for students and the young class in the future, and open the way for Turkey to use them according to a purely nationalist Turkish ideology."

Suhail, the governor of the international community, called for the Turkish state to stop its practices that violate international laws and norms.

It is noteworthy that Turkey has introduced curricula in Turkish language in addition to Arabic to schools in the Syrian regions it occupies, in addition to raising Turkish flags in all places and pictures of the Turkish president, which makes the observers think that they are Turkish cities at first glance!
