TEV -DEM congratulates Eid Al Fitr

This came through a statement issued by the Democratic Society Movement on the occasion of the happy Eid al-Fitr on Thursday, in which read:

With the advent of the happy Eid Al-Fitr, we offer our warmest congratulations and blessings to all components of the Syrian society and the Islamic community, and to all the families of martyrs, wounded comrades, and all freedom fighters on the fronts of honor and dignity.

Feasts and religious occasions are of great importance for their human meanings and their moral and cultural values ​​in societies and because they preserve these moral meanings.  We hope that these occasions will become a means to establish peace and a spirit of tolerance and solve all problems by peaceful means to reach peace and harmony towards stability and security in the region.

 However, the Turkish occupation state and its mercenaries are exploiting and turning occasions and holidays into hell over the heads of societies where they practice the most horrific occupation policies out of law and rights and follow the policy of scorched land through their daily brutal bombing and the policy of cutting off water to millions of people, draining the lifeline and locking it away from the Euphrates Dam, which is considered a war crime in itself against humanity, nature and all living things and violates all moral and human standards, all just in order to pass its dirty chauvinistic policies.

 We, in the Movement for a Democratic Society (TEV-Dem), renew our blessing again on this occasion and affirm that we are fully confident that peace and harmony will prevail throughout Syria, and that the struggle will continue to secure the safe return of all displaced Syrians to their homes.
