MMC Commander: Turkey shells populated villages almost daily

The Commander in Manbij Military Council MMC, Abdul Rahman Al-Banawi, stressed that the Turkish Occupation and its mercenaries were targeting populated villages along the lines of the fronts on a near daily basis and renewed their commitment to counter any Turkish attack.

Villages on the front lines with the Turkish Occupation areas north and west of Manbij are witnessing near-daily bombings from Turkish bases in the occupied territories, concentrated on populated villages.

Hawar news agency ANHA interviewed with The Commander in Manbij Military Council, Abdul Rahman Al-Banaw, said that the Turkish Occupation shells the villages on the front lines on daily basis that is close with Turkish Occupation areas, affirming that they are fully ready to repel any attack on the area.

He explained that "the points between Manbij Military Council Forces and the Euphrates Shield mercenaries have the sites of the Syrian Government and Russia," adding, "But these sites are still remained silent toward these violations."

He stressed that "the Russian State must intervene and cease fire as the guarantor in the region."

Turkey's bombing and attacks on the region are reported to violate terms of understanding reached by the Russian and Turkish presidents in the Russian city of Sochi on October 22^nd 2019 that stipulated for a ceasefire in northern and eastern Syria days after Turkey launched an attack on Tal-Abyed and Ras Al Ain regions.
