The Media Center of the Peoples' Defense Forces (HPG) issued a statement about the Turkish occupation attacks and the specific operations carried out by the guerrillas against the occupation positions.

The text of the statement read:

Within the framework of the operation "It is Time for Freedom", the Guerrillas and Star units (HPG, YJA- STAR) carried out qualitative operations against the Turkish occupation army, which launched a military operation against legitimate defense zones (Medya) on the 23rd of last April.

Within the framework of the revolutionary Operation "Falcons of Zagros", our forces carried out on the 29^th of April and at 11 am, a qualitative operation on Mam Rasho hill in the Avashin region after undercovering a unit of the Turkish occupation army took control of the hill. And resulted in the clashes that broke out on the hill, killing two soldiers from the Turkish occupation army.

The Turkish occupation army sent military helicopters to transport the dead and wounded. Then the helicopters targeted the area with missiles.

On the 30th of April, and in the period between 11:30 am and 7 am, the Turkish occupation forces tried to infiltrate the military fortifications on the hill of the martyr Arnous and the martyr Munther and Mam Rasho Square in the Avashin area. Our forces responded to the attempt of the Turkish occupation army and dealt painful blows to it, and the Turkish occupation army was forced to withdraw from the area of ​​clashes without achieving any results.

On the 30th of April, and at 6:30 am, our forces targeted with heavy weapons the outpost of the Turkish occupation in the region of Celî in the Kurdish state of Jolemerg, and were able to achieve direct casualties and destroy the enemy's fortifications in the outpost and kill all the holed up soldiers.

'The Turkish air strikes are continuing, and there are no casualties among the Guerrillas.

The Turkish occupation planes continue to bombard the legitimate defense zones.

On the 29^th of April, at exactly 9 pm, the Turkish occupation warplanes bombed the Qulity Square in the area of ​​Xwakurk.

Yesterday, April 30, 2021, the Turkish occupation forces bombed the villages of Kista, Matîna Square and Zendora Hill in the afternoon with Obes and mortars, and the bombing resulted in fires in the fields.

On the 30^th of April, at 1:40 pm, Turkish warplanes bombed Karker Square in the Zab region.

The Turkish occupation air strikes did not result in any losses in the ranks of our forces.
