Aisha Efendi: Demirtaş trial and his comrades is trick

The co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families of Euphrates rergion, Aisha Efendi said that "there is no such thing as a judiciary in Turkey, and the trials that we see of the members of the Peoples' Democratic Party HDP are a play whose judges are torturers and heroes are people who have joined forces with a city where civilians are at risk of extermination."

In a no - new move by the Turkish authorities in the context of restricting the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), the Turkish judiciary began prosecuting 108 members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP), including the former co-chair of the Peoples' Party, Selahattin Demirtaş and Vegan Yuksek Dag, for participating in demonstrations in Bakur Kurdistan and Turkey any in support of Kobani resistance when attacked by ISIS gangs between 2014-2015.

Turkey has no judiciary'

On this subject, ANHA's agency met with the co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families of Euphrates region, Aisha Efendi, who said: "Thousands of our Kurdish brothers still remain in Turkish Occupation State prisons without trial because of the charges against them are illegal, so we find them without trial now, and that's in contravention of international laws and charters.

She added: " Selahattin Demirtaş and his comrades did not commit a crime but faced the terrorism to which the city of Kobani was subjected, and tried to deliver the voice of the Kurd civilians who were at risk of extermination by ISIS terrorist mercenaries to the world."

Aisha Efendi noted that "there is a great contradiction between what the Turkish judiciary is promoting and question singles about the charges against the members of the Peoples' Democratic Party (HDP). The occupying Power has officially opened doors for them to cross into Kobani, and today they are being charged with terrorism, why it did not prevent them from delivering assistance to civilians at that time."

The co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families of Euphrates region, Aisha Efendi noted that: " Turkey has no judiciary, there are thousands like Demirtaş and his comrades in prison without legal justification and without trial. This is evidence of the inability of the Turkish security services to find charges against them," stressing that "international silence gives them legitimacy to continue human rights' violations, despite some shy statements from the European Union."

She explained that "Without the help of Demirtaş and his comrades, we might have suffered real extermination at the time. Today, they are behind the jails, and we tell them every Kobani with you. We are ready to offer them anything, whether it be material or moral, by taking to the streets in solidarity with them.

The past repeats itself through the trial of Demirtaş and his comrades'.

The co-chair of the Council of Martyrs' Families of Euphrates region, Aisha Efendi stated that: "The past repeats itself. Since its founding, Turkey does not have a fair judiciary. We must remember what the martyrs of the oppressed Mezlûm Dogan, Kemal Pîr and Sakîne Cansiz, have experienced. The judiciary failed to undermine her will, so she was martyred there. Today, the Turkish judiciary runs along those lines and prevents political prisoners from expressing their opinions.

She continued: "We must also remember that the leader Abdullah Ocalan is suffering from the isolation within the prison, and his clients and family are not allowed to visit him. If there was a law, the leader would be well placed now, and he would not be in a cell in the middle of the sea."

"The occupying Power is arresting the members of the Peoples' Party to undermine their will, but what we believe is that it will not be able to undermine the Kurd, which we see in the Peoples' Party, which renews itself every time and establishes a new structure."

In conclusion, she invited the Kurd in Turkey to come down to the yards and demonstrate.
