Clashes between ISIS and Damascus forces in Deir ez-Zor, killing 3 elements of the latter

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that, after midnight two - Tuesday, ISIS mercenaries attacked positions of Damascus Government forces in "Al-Tayarat" area within Al-Mayaden Badia in the eastern rural of Deir-ez-Zor, the latter firing light bombs after monitoring movements in the area.

Violent clashes then erupted between the parties, accompanied by mutual targeting, causing casualties, with at least three Damascus Government forces killed and several others injured.

According to the Observatory's sources, the area of clashes is very close to the area of farms belonging to pro-Iranian groups, but the latter has never supported the forces of the Damascus Government.

Thus, the death toll for the period from March 24^th, 2019 to the present day was 1,393 from Damascus Government forces and its loyalists of Syrian and non- Syrian nationalities, including at least two Russians, as well as 149 pro-Iranian groups of non- Syrian nationalities, all killed during attacks, bombings and ambushes of ISIS/ Daesh in West Euphrates, Deir-ez-Zor Badia, Raqqa, Homs, and As-Sweida.

The Syrian Observatory also documented the deaths of four civilians working in gas fields and 11 shepherds, as well as a citizen, a child and two men in mercenary attacks, as well as the deaths of 936 ISIS/Deash mercenaries during the same period during attacks, shelling and targeting.
