Internal Security in Raqqa seizes a warehouse of explosive remnants of ISIS

The Public Information Center of the Internal Security Forces in North and East Syria announced via its website that the Security Forces had found on Sunday, April 25 a warehouse and a factory for the manufacture of explosive shells and explosive devices belonging to ISIS mercenaries in the countryside of al-Karama town, north of Raqqa.

After a series of qualitative operations carried out by the Internal Security Forces in Raqqa in searching and investigating the remnants of ISIS mercenaries in various areas of the eastern countryside of Raqqa, the Public Security Agency, in cooperation with the engineering teams of the Internal Security Forces, seized a warehouse for the manufacture of explosive shells and missiles in al-Ghassaniyeh town which is administratively affiliated to al-Karama area in the eastern countryside of Raqqa.

Where the Security Forces imposed a dense cordon around the aforementioned place, after which they inspected the place and seized large quantities of explosives, which, according to the Public Information Center, are as follows:

Medium mortars (111)

Large mortars (5)

Mortar bases (10)

Gas cylinders (7)

Homemade rockets, full filling (3)

Small missiles stuffing (4)

Tank stuffing (1)

The Center stated that the materials that were seized were transferred to the place designated for collecting the remnants of ISIS mercenaries, far from the places where civilians gather to be destroyed.

These qualitative operations come in light of the growing activity of ISIS mercenaries along al-Karama area, east of Raqqa, where the mercenary groups targeted, with improvised explosive devices and mines, both civilian and military cars traveling on al-Karama-Deir Ezzor road, and al-Karama-al-Hasakah road through a white road, in addition to assassination operations that affected members of the Internal Security Forces and SDF fighters.
