National Defense mercenaries affiliated with the Damascus government, since the evening of Tuesday, April 20, continue their attacks on the Internal Security Forces and civilians in the city of Qamishlo.

The Internal Security Forces that respond to attacks within the framework of legitimate defense continue to clash with mercenaries and respond to the sources of attacks.

Regarding the attacks of the National Defense mercenaries in the city of Qamishlo, the co-chair of the Executive Council of the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, Berivan Khaled, told ANHA that the aim of the attacks is to create discord and tension between the components of the region, especially the Kurds and Arabs.

According to the information our correspondent reported, clashes are continuing inside Al Tayy neighborhood and the vicinity of Halko School.

Berivan Khaled indicated that this is not the first time that the mercenaries of the National Defense launch attacks.

She said: We will not allow them to do so, and we will protect security in the region, and surely their attacks will end, and their plans to strike the components together will be foiled.

Yesterday, the National Defense mercenaries targeted the child Mahmoud Mahmoud (10 years old), which led to his death, while a number of other civilians were wounded during their attacks.

Regarding targeting civilians, Berivan continued, "The attacks of these mercenaries are a threat to the lives of civilians, and our forces seek by all means to remove civilians from the areas of conflict and secure their lives."

It is noteworthy that the mercenaries of the National Defense committed many crimes in the region, and they kidnapped civilians more than once, in addition to their members engaging in the drug trade and its promotion, and creating chaos in the region.
