Yasidis call on Iraq to respect their will

Yazidis in North Eastern Syria stressed that they would block any plot or military attempts against Shengal calling on the Iraqi Government not to be part to the Turkish policies adopted in the region noting that these attack amount to a new firman.

On April 20^th, Iraqi Forces tried to penetrate into the village of Gir Zerik but they were met with popular rejection after which, in the process of condemnation to the event, many Kurdistani parties and associations issued statements making clear that all these moves discharge into the benefits of the Turkish Occupation Forces and allies as a new firman against Yazidis.

Yazidis in the Tirbe Spiye District denounced the policies adopted by the Iraqi Government under influence of Turkey to penetrate into Shengal viewing this as a new a firman.

Laila Ibraheem, Co-chair of the Yazidi House in the Jazira Canton indicates that these measures are rejected by any part to interfere into Yazidi issues in Shengal.

Laila called on the Iraqi Federal Government to respect the will and sovereignty of Shenagl that sacrificed thousands of martyrs against ISIS and setting up a new administration there.

In turn, Nejbir Haitham denounced the moves by the Iraqi Army in Shengal clarifying that Yazidis have a strong will of youths stood up to ISIS at a time regional and euopean poers abandoned them.

Nejbir called on the Iraqi Government to be a part in the Turkish policies that aim to subvert the will of the Yazidi people in Shengal.
