Politician: "National Defense" attack; due to the Ba'athist fascist regime's disappointment

Clashes between the Internal Security Forces and the National Defense Militias of the Government of Damascus began at 22:00 pm on April 20th, when militias attacked an Internal Security Forces barrier on Al-Wahada Street in the vicinity of Al-Tahi neighborhood, much of which is controlled by militias.

The militia attack led to the martyrdom of a member of the Internal Security Forces, the latter responding to the attack, resulting in sporadic clashes that continue.

'Destabilizing the security and stability of the region '

Speaking on the subject, member of the General Discipline Body of the Democratic Union Party in Euphrates Saleh Noah, to ANHA agency, "This is not the first time that the Ba'athist regime and the National Defense have committed violations designed to sow discord and fear among the people, clans and components of NE, Syria and to destabilize the security and stability of the region.

Saleh Noah pointed out that because it did not endure the democratic nation project embodied in the Autonomous Administration and saw it as a threat to its power, the Government aimed to strike down the project that had been adopted as a basic regime for the people of NE, Syria, in which the people of the region saw a solution to the Syrian crisis.

Noah explained that "the fascist Ba'athist regime, through its old dictatorial mindset, wants to undermine the will and authority of the people by intimidating them to practice extermination, which is the result of its bankruptcy, even though it is in its final stages and tends to go into bankruptcy in all economic, political or military aspects."

The people of the region are aware of what's going on

"Neither the Syrian Government nor the opposition have a legitimate right to resolve the current Syrian crisis, because they have the same authoritarian mentality, which the Syrian people in general and the people in the north and east of Syria in particular do not want because they saw the project of a democratic nation as their salvation.

He stressed that the people of the region were aware of the ongoing violence in the region, and that they must face such violations by organizing events and fighting for a system of coexistence under the project of a democratic nation that protected the rights of all components.

It is pointed out that the militias of the so-called National Defense occasionally create security tensions to sow fear and discord among the people of the region.
