PYD: Turkey attacks values of peoples, societies amid international silence

A drone belonging to the Turkish occupation army targeted the house where the Leader Abdullah Ocalan stayed in 1979 while crossing from Northern Kurdistan to Rojava, and it is known as the "leader's house" and is located in Albalur village, west of Kobane city.

Denouncing the attack, members of the Democratic Union Party, the Kongra Star Coordination, the Martyrs' Families Council, and the civilian councils gathered in the Euphrates region in front of the targeted house.

During the gathering, a statement was issued by the Democratic Union Party in this regard, and it was read by the Member of the Party's Executive Committee, Ahmed Sheikho. The statement was read in Kurdish and stated:

"Turkey attacks the values ​​of peoples and societies amid international silence"

"This is not the first time that the Turkish state has targeted international agreements regarding ceasefire and cessation of war, specifically the agreement concluded between Russia, Turkey and America on a ceasefire in the region, and as Turkey committed massacres in Manbij, al-Shahba, Helenj village, Ain Issa, Tel Tamr and all areas of northern Syria, it continues to commit crimes and massacres against the people of the region."

The statement indicated that the Turkish state, through such attacks, has proven that it is against resolving the Kurdish issue and all problems in the region in a peaceful manner, showing its fascist mentality that follows the principle of one flag, one language and one thought, proving that it is hostile to the Kurdish thought and issue.

The statement continued: "Turkey attacked the martyrs' shrine, historical places and the values ​​of peoples and societies in the region, and now it is attacking a house in which Mr. Ocalan stayed. After 22 years of imprisonment, isolation and torture against Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, Turkey repeats the scenario of the international conspiracy, proving that it does not bear even the memories of Mr. Abdullah Ocalan, his thought, his philosophy, and everything that he means, because it sees in it a threat to its authority."

The statement denounced the international silence regarding the continued attacks of the Turkish occupation state on the region, saying: "We in the Democratic Union Party condemn this attack. We also denounce the international silence and the parties that concluded a ceasefire agreement with Turkey. instead of stopping the attacks and playing their role as a guarantor of the ceasefire in the region, those parties' imprint ia  a partner to the Turkish state in committing violations and crimes against the people of the region."

The Democratic Union Party concluded its statement by saying: "We tell the Turkish state that after 22 years of imprisonment and the strict isolation of Mr. Ocalan, you have not been able to obscure his thought from the world, and with such attacks you increase our connection with Mr. Ocalan's thought and that your defeat will be thanks to Mr. Ocalan's thought, and the Kurdish people will inevitably triumph."
