Syrian reformist movement stressed, through a statement, the need to "support the Syrian Democratic Forces politically, morally and financially for their heroic and steadfast stance with full strength, firmness and honor on the northern borders of the Arab world in the face of the Turkish occupation army and the mercenaries cooperating with it."

The Syrian reformist movement said, in a statement published, Sunday: “The Turkish gang’s brigades and their mercenaries are still attacking NE, Syria, where artillery and mortar shells targeted the women, the elderly and children in the vicinity of Ain Issa in particular, and inflicted many material damage to the property of safe civilians in region".

International community turns blind eyes

It emphasized that the aim of the ongoing Turkish attacks is to complete the process of demographic change and empty the region of its residents, and said: “As they did in Afrin and other occupied areas ... This Turkish policy would not have completed its criminal and terrorist acts against people, stones and trees if it had not been tolerated by most countries of the world, in the forefront of which is the decision-makers in the Syrian file.

The movement indicated through its statement: "Every new morning, news tells us about acts of violence and terror carried out by the Turkish occupation government in Afrin and its villages, where the bombing was accompanied by warplanes."

'The international community is responsible'

The Syrian reformist movement held the international community responsible for what is happening in the occupied areas and the repercussions of the Turkish attacks, and said: “We hold the international community with all its legal, humanitarian, and social human rights organizations responsible for what is happening in terms of killing, devastation, destruction and displacement of the safe people and the theft of their agricultural crops.”

And it went on to say: "Yes, we hold the international community in general and the guarantor states in particular that they are all responsible for Turkish tampering and daily terror in the region."

The Syrian reformist movement demanded the following immediate measures:

1- That the UN Security Council and the United Nations Authority assume their responsibilities and work to form a UN committee to immediately investigate the violations of the Turkish occupation in all Syrian cities, villages and towns in NE, Syria.

2- Calling on the Arab League to take more clear and transparent positions regarding the relationship with Turkey. And even more firm, strict and clear regarding the blatant Turkish intervention in more than one Arab country ... the least of which is summoning Turkish ambassadors and delivering them messages of protest and condemnation, and denouncing what the Turkish occupation government is doing.

3- The necessity to implement a comprehensive boycott system for all imports from the Turkish occupation government.

4- Supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces politically, morally and financially for their heroic and steadfast stance with all strength, determination and honor on the northern borders of the Arab world in the face of the Turkish occupation army and the mercenaries cooperating with it.

5- We are in the Syrian reformist movement, as we reiterate the necessity of caution and alertness that the Turkish ambitions that is rooted the mindset of the Justice and Development Party have no limits, and that its occupation expansion programs do not stop and will not stop at the Iraqi or Syrian borders. The Arab countries do not hide this, but rather show off about it through their direct and indirect interference in more than one Arab country.

6- The Syrian reformist movement fully believes that the central government in Damascus is powerless because instead of cooperating and supporting the Syrian Democratic Forces that truly and effectively defend the sovereignty of the Syrian territories, we see the central government in Damascus but rather pitting society and spreading discord and discrimination between the components of the Syrian people and completely forgetting its main role as the protector of the country and the citizen, which confirms that it does not have its decisions and therefore does not expect anything from it.

7- The Syrian reformist movement highly values all the sincere efforts of some regional countries in order to support the Syrian people with all its components and defend their rights.

8- Calling all the free people of the world, governments and peoples, to stand firm and strong in the face of Turkish arrogance and thugs.

9 - The necessity of vigilance, caution and raising the level of awareness among citizens in all countries, especially Syria, not to be deceived by the Islamic dress, which Erdogan is trying to impose on all Turkish terrorist moves by recruiting traitorous mercenaries.

It is noteworthy that the head of the Syrian reformist movement, Shukri Sheikhani, announced on March 27, 2019, that he would join the Syrian Democratic Council during his participation in the third Syrian-Syrian Dialogue Forum, which was held in Kobani.
