German Kurdish Forum aims to develop relations with Rojava

The head of the German Kurdish Forum, Yunus Bahram, explained that their goal of visiting Rojava Kurdistan is to develop relations and conclude agreements with the Autonomous Administration.

On April 3, a delegation from the well-known German-Kurdish Forum in Germany visited Rojava, with the aim of developing the German-Kurdish dialogue.

About the details of the visit, the head of the German Kurdish Forum, Yunus Bahram, spoke to ANHA agency.

Yunus explained that the goal of their council is to resolve the differences between the Kurdish people and the German government, especially the Kurds living in Germany. “Our goal is to develop the policy and diplomatic relations between the Kurds and Germany, so that we can make the Kurds’ policy be accepted by the German government, "he said.

"The mentality of the Turkish state excluded the Kurds"

Yunus Bahram stated that they seek to exclude the Kurds from the list of terrorism because the Turkish state, a member of NATO, describes the Kurdish people as terrorists, and continued by saying: “The Kurdish people have been classified on the terrorist list by a decision of the Turkish state. As is well known, the member states of NATO believe that it is their right to classify any party on the list of terrorism. "

Yunus Bahram pointed out that the problem of the occupying Turkish state is not with a single Kurdish movement, and added: “The Turkish state considers the government of Başûr Kurdistan (Southern Kurdistan) also as a terrorist, and this matter appeared when the referendum was held, meaning that the problem of the Turkish state’s mentality is the lack of acceptance of the Kurds.”

Bahram noted that there are hundreds of Kurdish associations exist around the world, but most of them are described by governments as "terrorists", and one example is the Kurdish Red Crescent, and he said: "Although such associations and organizations are described as terrorist by the German government. However, it enjoys the support of the German people and looks at it positively, because the people realize the truth about these associations by dealing and having contact with them.

Yunus Bahram noted that they seek through the German-Kurdish Forum to show the truth of the Kurdish people, adding: "Especially after the deterioration of relations between the Turkish state and European countries, and the failure of Erdogan's efforts to revive the Ottoman Empire."

Bahram explained that after the decline in relations between the Turkish state and European countries, they considered the need to build and develop dialogue on strong foundations, and said in this regard: “We do not tell them directly that you have to reduce ties with the Turkish state, but we are trying to remind them not to forget us.”

'Agreements with the Autonomous Administration'

Yunus Bahram also added: "We wanted through this visit to conclude an agreement with the Autonomous Administration, in order to develop these relations and put them at the service of developing political and diplomatic relations with the Autonomous Administration."

'Rojava University'

Yunus Bahram also explained that one of the reasons for their visit to Rojava is to seek to develop the University of Rojava, where we have been working on this matter for some time: “We have contacted a number of German professors in order to work on teaching students at the University of Rojava through Internet".

The head of the German-Kurdish Forum, Yunus Bahram, noted that they are working continuously to develop relations between Rojava University and German universities, and that there are many university professors who would like to teach at Rojava University on a voluntary basis, and wish to support the university.
