ISIS mercenaries launched a surprise attack in the Syrian desert, which led to the capture of 8 policemen of the Damascus government forces and the loss of 40 others.

ISIS mercenaries launched a new surprise attack within the Syrian desert, as they attacked areas controlled by the Damascus government in al-Zwayna area and other areas in Uqayribat district within the eastern Hama countryside, and they clashed with the Damascus government forces, which left deaths and injuries.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that the mercenaries deliberately captured 8 "police" members, in addition to kidnapping 11 people of al-Sa'an district amid the loss of about 40 others, and a mobilization by the Damascus government forces in addition to their bringing in military reinforcements to the area there.
