Clashes and tensions between mercenaries and people in western countryside of Serêkaniyê

Several villages in the western countryside of Serêkaniyê are witnessing tension and clashes, as the so-called “Badr Martyrs Brigade” attacked a dysfunctional village and attempted to kidnap a citizen, so that the citizen defended and killed one of the attacking mercenaries and managed to escape.

In the details, a local source from the city of Serêkaniyê told ANHA that the mercenaries of the so-called “Badr Martyrs Brigade” affiliated with the Turkish occupation and which controls the villages of the western countryside of the city of Serêkaniyê raided two days ago, the village of Mukhtalah located 35 km southwest of the city of Serêkaniyê, and attacked the house of the citizen, “Hammadi”. Al-Hilo "tried to kidnap him, but the latter resisted the mercenaries and killed one of them, and managed to escape from the village.

The source pointed out that as a result, the mercenaries mobilized and began to search for Hammadi al-Hilo in all the village’s homes and raid the houses without regard to the sanctity of the homes, which led to the anger of the villagers who clashed with the mercenaries, without obtaining information about what resulted in these clashes.

The source confirmed that the mercenaries then raided several villages west of Serêkaniyê, after which clashes erupted yesterday between the mercenaries and the Adwan clan in the town of Mabrouka, who rejected the mercenaries ’raiding villages.

In the wake of these events, the western countryside of the city of Serêkaniyê is still in a state of tension and alertness for two days until now.
