PYD: Ocalan leader's birth is icon to peoples yearning for freedom

He said: " Ocalan's leader, was born on April 4, 1949, in Amara village to poor Kurdish family, he lived his childhood and the prime of his youth, linked to the values of his village and people, and lived his suffering like any Kurdish youth until he realized the reality of his people, became the people’s lover and did what he had done by changing the mindset and organization.

The statement pointed out that the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, “never celebrated his birthday, and he did not occur to him that his people, and even the peoples of the Middle East, would celebrate this day,” adding that “after his capture, when his comrades mentioned him on this occasion, he asked them to plant trees on his birthday. "

In the midst of its statement, the Democratic Union Party PYD affirmed that “with the thought produced by the leader, Apo, by his practical practice and his sincerity with what he says and the paradigm that he has accomplished, he has become a school for his comrades and for all those who aspire to freedom and live in dignity, and societies and peoples’ awareness of this fact, made them loyal to the leader, Apo, just as He was loyal to them. That is why the people today celebrate the birth of the leader, Apo, and see that his birth is their birth, thus expressing their solidarity with a captive leader in the hands of the most powerful fascism known to mankind, and to demand the world powers that captured him to release him. "
