Unidentified persons, riding a motorbike, shot the pharmacist, Attia Ali al-Fajry, inside his pharmacy near Qwas Swaidan east of Deir-ez-Zor, after which they fled, chanting phrases such as "The State of Islam will remain."

It is noteworthy that the pharmacist Attia Ali al-Fajry is a member of al-Shwait clan, from the village of Abu Hardoub.
