9 members of the National Defense Forces of the Damascus government were wounded, as a result of a landmine explosion in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, where ISIS mercenary cells are deployed.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that 9 members of the National Defense Forces of the Damascus government were injured as a result of a landmine explosion, targeting a bus carrying them in the vicinity of "Faydat Ibn Muwaina" area in the desert of Al-Mayadeen in the eastern countryside of Deir Ezzor, as ISIS mercenary cells are spread in the area.

In this context, the Syrian Observatory indicated yesterday that 7 members of the Damascus government forces were killed and 3 others were wounded, in an attack by ISIS mercenaries targeting sites in Uqayribat desert in the eastern countryside of Hama.

Thus, the death toll from March 24, 2019 to the present day has reached 1,369 deaths from the Damascus government forces, including at least two Russians, in addition to 149 pro-Iranian groups, all of whom were killed during attacks, bombings and ambushes of ISIS mercenaries in the desert of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Homs and Sweida.
