Russian fighter jets launched about 30 air strikes on several locations where ISIS mercenaries are holed up in the Badia.

About 30 Russian fighter jets targeted Syrian Desert

Since Friday evening till now, several Russian aircrafts have taken over targeting with about 30 airstrikes sites where ISIS mercenaries are holed up throughout the Syrian desert.

In the context, the Damascus government forces continued their combing campaigns against ISIS mercenaries in the desert of Hama, Homs and Raqqa, reaching the administrative borders with Aleppo governorate.

According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, Russian fighter jets targeted yesterday evening, using about 12 air strikes, locations where ISIS mercenaries are deployed in Al-Sukhnah desert, east of Homs, amid successive takeoffs of Russian air forces from Hmeimim airport towards the Syrian Badia.

Yesterday, the Observatory indicated that 7 members of the Damascus government forces were killed, and 3 others were wounded, in an attack by ISIS mercenaries targeting locations in the Uqayribat desert in Hama eastern countryside.

Thus, the death toll from 24 March 2019 to the present day has reached 1,369 deaths from the Damascus government forces, including at least two Russians, in addition to 149 pro-Iranian groups, all of whom were killed during attacks, bombings and ambushes of ISIS mercenaries in the desert of Deir Ezzor, Raqqa, Homs and Sweida.
