Xezeli calls for Shengal October 9th, Agreement revocation

Head of the Asa'b Ahel al-Heq Qais Xezeli called for the revocation of the Shengal October 9th, 2020, Agreement dubbing it as a politically motivated bargain for elections propaganda at the expense of the Yazidi people.

In a tweet Xezeli said on Thursday '' unfortunately, the Sinjar Agreement is political one, for election propaganda at the expense of the Yazidi citizens, permanence of this agreement means that Sinjar would return to those abandoned it's people after our people of the Security Forces most notably the Popular Mobilization Forces sacrificed dearly to liberate it and retake it again to home''.

''this agreement should be revoked that amounts to betrayal and to adopt a proper solution that is meeting peoples' demands and supporting them and enabling them to defend their city more specifically the PMF of the Yazidi Sect, otherwise any military encounter would not serve neither the people of Sinjar nor the government rather it would serve the part wants to annex it and would serve Erdogan''.

Worth to note that yesterday, the Shengal Council released a statement to the public opinion rejecting the threats posed by the Iraqi Federal Government and adopting resistance as a final choice.
