Mazloum Abdi: Reconstruction efforts are vital to prevent ISIS resurgence

On the occasion of the anniversary of ISIS defeat in its last stronghold of Baghuz, Mazloum Abdi recalled the efforts of the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) and Coalition, and said, "The war is not over yet, and the reconstruction efforts are necessary to prevent the return of ISIS."

The talk of the Commander-in-Chief of the Syrian Democratic Forces, Mazloum Abdi, came during a tweet he posted on his Twitter webpage, in which he said: "Today we commemorate the heroism of the Syrian Democratic Forces and Coalition that fought ISIS in Baghuz two years ago."

He added, "The war is not over yet, and reconstruction efforts are vital to prevent the resurgence of ISIS."

He continued, "Victory was the first step, next comes the rebuilding of our communities."
