Seminar in Qamishlo to discuss issues facing young people, ways to solve them

Today, the Youth and Sports Committee in Al-Jazira region organized a dialogue seminar, to shed light on the problems and issues of youth in society, and to put forward appropriate solutions to overcome the obstacles facing the young group.

Under the slogan "No One Can Stand Before the Youth Yearning for Freedom," the seminar was held at "The Wargeha Ciwanan" center in Qamishlo, in which members and representatives of the youth parties and movements in Al-Jazira region participated.

The seminar began with holding a minute of silence, then dialogue opened for the participants to express their views on the most prominent problems and issues facing young people, and discussing appropriate solutions to overcome obstacles.

At the beginning, the interlocutors focused on the issue of unemployment and the youth migration abroad, not to mention the humanitarian crisis that has plagued Syria since 2011, in addition to the economic stagnation which affected the areas of north-east Syria.

While some pointed out that the young group is the most affected by the special war that is being run by the capitalist and superpowers, and which harnesses all its capabilities to distance them from their culture and identity in order to serve their agendas, whether political or economic.

In addition, the interlocutors discussed ways to overcome obstacles, by proposing some proposals that would make new things for the young group, which can be summed up by reviving programs that link the youth to its identity and culture, raising the youth participation in the decision-making stage, as well as raising the level of education.
