Regarding the news issued by the Turkish media outlets which stated the deterioration of the health status of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, today the Kongra Star and the Democratic Union Party in the city of Qamishlo issued a joint statement in this regard, and it was delivered by Halim Ekko, the Administrator in the Democratic Union Party’s Office in front of a number of Qamishlo residents, and the text of the statement included:

"Today we give this statement for the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan who has passed 22 years between four walls in the prisons of Turkish fascism."

The statement continued: "We denounce this stripping, and the stances of all the humanitarian and human rights institutions of the United Nations towards what Turkish fascism is doing against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, especially in these days when the Turkish media claimed that the leader's health condition is not good, and they did not clarify anything about his health."

The statement affirmed: "The Kurdish, Arab and Syriac people, and everyone who believes in the thought and philosophy of the leader Ocalan will not rest until it becomes clear that the leader's health is good, and that they will be in the squares so that the leader's lawyers and his family can visit him and check on his health."

Then the statement ended with chanting the slogans that saluted the leader Ocalan.
