5 deaths, 45 cases with COVID-19 in NE, Syria

On Tuesday, the Health Body recorded five deaths, in addition to 45 new cases of coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria.

Dr. Joan Mustafa, co-chair of the Health Body in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, explained that the deaths are of two men from Tabqa, others from Raqqa and al-Shahba, and a woman from al-Shahba.

Mustafa confirmed that they had recorded 45 new cases of coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria, which are 22 males and 23 females, and they are distributed as follows:

Al-Hasakah has 9 cases

In Qamishlo 8 cases

Derik 4 cases

Girkê Legê 1 case

Ad-Darbasiyah 1 case

Tirbespiyê 1 case

Tabqa 7 cases

Manbij 5 cases

Raqqa 3 cases

Deir-ez-Zor 3 cases

Kobane 2 cases

Al-Shahba 1 case

It is reported that the number of cases of coronavirus in northern and eastern Syria reached 8,900 with the announcement of these new cases, including 346 deaths, and 1,259 recoveries.
