Today, dozens of people from Kobani canton offered condolences to the families of the fighters Çîçek Botan and Luay Mohammed Ali in the condolence tent in the Martyr Dijlah Cemetery.

The Martyrs' Families Foundation in the Euphrates region held a condolence ceremony for the fighter in the Anti-Terrorist Forces, Çîçek Botan; the nom de guerre is Basma Haydar, and the fighter in the Self-Defense Forces, Luay Mohammed Ali, who were martyred while performing the duties assigned to them.

The mourners who flocked to the tent erected at the shrine were received by the martyrs' families, along with members of the Martyrs' Families Foundation.

The delegation that offered condolences today included members of local councils, as well as members of municipal councils in the Euphrates region, where the funeral ceremony began with holding a minute of silence in honor of the souls of the martyrs. The Co-chair of Sarin Municipal Council, Mustafa Muslim, then praises the great virtue of the martyrs who fought and gave their blood cheap, so that the peoples of the region would enjoy freedom and safety, pledging that the path taken by the martyrs is the path that the future generations will take after them.

For her part, the Deputy Co-Chairmanship of Shiran District Council, Lotfiyyah Mahmoud, gave a speech in which she referred to the role of women in Rojava Revolution at all levels, whether military, political or in the workplace, and the sacrifices that they made to liberate the region and build society.

Lotfyyah praised the sacrifice of the struggler Çîçek, stressing that her sacrifice for the sake of the freedom of the leader and for the peoples of the region to live in freedom and safety will not go unheeded, and stressed that the enemy is targeting the women's struggle in the first place and striking the gains of the peoples in north and east Syria, who have sacrificed the most precious to reach a society in which justice and equality are prevailed.
