Dêrik people: Barzani's reception of al-Hariri affirms denying Kurds’ rights

Barzani's reception of the Head of the so-called Syrian Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, in Başûr Kurdistan, was criticized by Kurdish politicians, activists and journalists on social media sites in light of the daily violations and massacres committed by the so-called Syrian National Army, which al-Hariri considers his political face.

Regarding the visit of the so-called Head of the Syrian Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, to Başûr Kurdistan, the people of Dêrik district in Qamishlo canton denounced Barzani’s reception of Nasr al-Hariri, stressing, “How can a Kurdish leader receive the killer of the Kurdish people.”

Saleh Sadeq, a resident from Dêrik said, “How can those who have claimed since a century that they are the leaders of the Kurdish people and are demanding their rights negotiate and sit at the same table with figures who deny the Kurdish language and the rights of the Kurdish people?”

Sadeq noted, “The National Council has nothing but to demand a quota in the Administration of North-East Syria, as the Kurdish National Council, the Syrian opposition and the Barzani family do not take a single step without Erdogan's knowledge, so they work only with the permission of Erdogan through the instructions and decisions imposed on them by Erdogan.”

Sadeq touched on “Barzani's statements about Şengal that those present and their defenders are strangers, and these statements serve the enemy of the Kurdish people. Masoud Barzani poisoned his brother, so how can he serve the Kurdish people.”

Sadeq noted, “During the massacre of Tel Hasel and Tel Aran, Masoud Barzani denied the existence of a revolution and massacres in north and east Syria, so how could Masoud Barzani receive Nasr al-Hariri who denied the existence of the Kurdish people and their language and dissolved the blood of the Kurdish people, captured their women and killed them.”

Sadeq added, “Al-Hariri’s statements about the Kurdish people and Barzani’s silence and his reception in Başûr Kurdistan are evidence of Barzani’s assertion of denying the rights of the Kurdish people in north-east Syria.”

Başûr people must break their silence about Barzani's policies

Sadeq said, “The people of Başûr Kurdistan and the Kurdish parts are required to state that the Barzani family’s claim to be the leaders of the Kurdish people and demand for their rights is a fabrication and baseless, and this family’s mission is only to dominate the gains and rights of the Kurdish people. This family rejects any Kurdish militant and politician who demand the rights of the Kurdish people.”

Sadeq added, "It is unfortunate that we add the name of Kurdistan and say about this party the Kurdistan Democratic Party, and we demand them not to participate in the bloodshed of the Kurdish people and not to serve their enemy.”

Sadeq appealed to "the people of Başûr Kurdistan, who rose up in the face of Saddam Hussein who committed a massacre against the Kurdish people, so how can they remain silent about the practices of the Barzani family?”

Al-Hariri's advocators committed massacres against Kurds

In turn, the citizen Asia Abdullah wonders, “What is the reason for the visit of the Head of the so-called Syrian Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, to Başûr Kurdistan at a time when everyone realizes that al-Hariri is the political face of ISIS?”

Asia continued, “Al-Hariri's supporters committed massacres in Afrin, Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê, and caused the displacement of thousands of people, capturing thousands of civilians, in addition to looting their properties.”

Asia noted, “Al-Hariri declares on a daily basis to end the rights of the Kurdish people, their historical existence and reject their language, so we will not accept any constitution that prohibits our mother tongue and excludes us while countries and organizations claim that learning in the mother tongue is everyone’s right.”

It was Barzani's duty to support Rojava Revolution

In turn, the citizen Nesrin Mohamed denounced the visit of the so-called Head of the Syrian Coalition, Nasr al-Hariri, to Başûr Kurdistan, who declares his hostility to the Kurdish people and their human rights and legitimate gains.

Nesrin indicated, "Nasr al-Hariri's statements that he did not recognize the Kurdish language is not strange because his goal is to exclude the Kurdish people and their gains, but what is surprising is how the government and leaders of Başûr Kurdistan have been subjected to injustice and massacres and made sacrifices and martyrs for the sake of the Kurdish people's freedom.”

Nesrin indicated, “The massacres that happened in Başûr by the tyrant Saddam Hussein are being committed today by the enemies of the Kurdish people in Rojava against our people, so it was the duty of the leadership of Başûr Kurdistan to support their people in Rojava and not receive the enemy of the Kurdish people who does not recognize the gains and rights of our people in Rojava.”

Nesrin Mohamed appealed to “the people of Başûr Kurdistan and the Kurdish parts to unify their ranks in building a free homeland that serves the Kurdish people and the peoples of the region, and not to be dragged behind the plans of the occupying countries.”
