Yesterday, the Head of the so-called "National Coalition of Revolution and Opposition Forces" mercenaries affiliated with the Turkish occupation, Nasr al-Hariri, and a number of members of the Kurdish National Council arrived in Başûr Kurdistan, and held a meeting in the regional capital, Hewlêr.

In addition to the Turkish occupation's exploitation of the Kurdistan Democratic Party in Başûr Kurdistan to launch attacks on the People’s Defense Forces in Başûr Kurdistan, the Turkish occupation is exploiting the mercenaries of the so-called “National Coalition of Revolution and Opposition Forces” to consolidate its colonial plan in Syria.

This meeting comes in light of the ongoing crimes by the "Coalition" mercenaries and terrorist groups that follow Turkish orders.

Many saw it as a step from the Turkish occupation to legitimize its occupation of the cities of north-east Syria, especially the Kurdish ones, and denounced the regional government’s reception of the Kurdish people’s killers who deported them from Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî.

Hassen Berko, a displaced from Janders district who lives in al-Shahba canton, looked back on the policy adopted by the Barzani family against the People’s Defense Forces in 1992, and said, “The complicity of the Kurdistan Democratic Party extends over decades. In 1992 he agreed with the Turkish occupation to launch an aggression against the People’s Defense Forces stationed in the mountains of Kurdistan under the name of “Sandwish operation,” and allowed the Turkish army and intelligence to establish their base in Başûr Kurdistan.

Berko added, “Today we see his reception of the Head of the so-called (Coalition) who killed the children and women of Afrin, Girê Spî and Serêkaniyê, forcibly displaced them from their homes and stole the monuments of their areas, to conclude agreements and plans that only serve the Turkish occupation.”

At the end of his speech, Hassen Berko confirmed that “Afrin people will continue their resistance against the policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, the policies of the Turkish occupation and its followers until their plans are broken, as they did in Heftanin and Garê.”

As for the displaced Adnan Sheikh Mohamed who lives in al-Shahba canton, he says, “The attacks on Afrin, Serêkaniyê and Girê Spî launched by the so-called Syrian National Army mercenaries, but the attacks on Garê took place with the approval of the Kurdistan Democratic Party because this is its policy that has always been against the Kurds, as it implements the Turkish agendas, and this fact cannot be denied.”

Mohamed called on the government of Başûr, saying, “How far will your complicity reach? Yesterday, you received the enemy of the Kurds, Nasr al-Hariri, the Member of the National Coalition, and the leader of the theft revolution in Afrin, under the pretext of combating terrorism.”

At the end of his speech, Sheikh Mohamed called on the people of Başûr Kurdistan to stand against the policy of the Kurdistan Democratic Party, which implements the agendas of the Turkish occupation.

For her part, Rabia Waqqas said, “How can I forgive him and my brothers were martyred at his hand without any mercy in the Sandwish operation, and now he is receiving Nasr al-Hariri's.”
