Minor handed over to family

Child Protection Bureau in the Armed Conflicts has handed over a minor to his family after being handed over in turn by the Syrian Democratic Forces in compliance with the signed agreement with United Nations that forbids child recruitment.

Minor (A.A), 15, was handed over to family by co-chairs of the Child Protection Bureau in the Armed Conflicts, Xaled Cebir and Marwa al-Abdullah, in the office of Hasaka Canton. 

Cebir said: the signed agreement entails that all minors should be excluded from military forces'', indicating that they coordinate closely with the SDF to remove all minor from the forces and  that they ''respond very cooperatively''.

From his part father of the child said that his son's affiliation into the forces due to a family dispute, and that after all documents were verified he was handed over to family''.

Worth to note that up to date 39 minors have been handed over to families since the Child Protection Bureau in The Armed Conflicts –Hasaka, was set up.
