Since this morning, tens of thousands of people from the city of Qamishlo and its environs have flocked to the city center, to participate in the demonstration condemning the international conspiracy against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and a few hours later, a mass demonstration began to reach the United Nations building in the city, starting from the Assyrian.

The demonstration started with the participation of delegations from the Autonomous Administration of Northern and Eastern Syria, the People's Protection Units and Women’s Protection Units, civil society institutions, Kurdish, Arab and Syriac political parties and blocs, from the blood bank roundabout in the Assyrian neighborhood in the center of the city.

The demonstrators carried pictures of leader Abdullah Ocalan, Kurdish flags, pictures of martyrs, and banners that read: "Freedom and justice for the leader Ocalan, with our unity we will defeat plots against the people. We will resist any conspiracy targeting our dignity. We are the owners of the land and Erdogan is occupied, we salute the resistance of the Garê Mountains," and the flags of the Kurdish parties.

With the arrival of the demonstrators chanting slogans calling for breaking the isolation of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, “Freedom to the leader Ocalan, long live leader Abdullah Ocalan,” the demonstration turned into a mass sit-in in front of a building returning to the United Nations in the Seyahi neighborhood in the city of Qamishlo.

The sit-in, along with chanting slogans calling for the freedom of Leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the crowd's chants, included speeches by administrators in civil society institutions in northern and eastern Syria, in which they confirmed their condemnation of the plot against the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and demanded that the international community move to achieve justice for the leader detained since February 1999.

The words began with the official spokeswoman for Star Congress, Ramziyya Muhammad, in which she said, "The plot against the leader Abu is targeting the Kurdish people, and isolating the leader and the people from each other, but the leader's widespread ideas thwarted that conspiracy, increased the people's rallying around the leader, and increased the connection."

She added, "We will continue to associate with our leader, and we will achieve the project of the democratic nation, and the Kurdish people are not only linked to the leader, but to the general peoples of the Middle East, given his bright ideas that preserve the rights of the components, and achieve coexistence and civil peace."

She indicated that the isolation practiced by the Turkish occupation against the leader Abdullah Ocalan is nothing but a continuation of Turkey’s plan, to limit the ideas of the leader who contributed to the rallying of all the peoples of the Middle East around him, and said, “In response to this conspiracy and isolation, we have established the brotherhood of the peoples in northern and eastern Syria, and we must escalate pace of struggle in our regions to thwart isolation just as the conspiracy thwarted us, and to reach the freedom of the leader. "

Ramziyye Muhammad also touched on the heroic resistance shown by the students of Abdullah Ocalan: the Guerrilla in the face of all attacks on Kurdistan, and she said, “the Guerrilla foiled the recent Turkish attacks on Garê, so long live Garê resistance, and these attacks are a continuation of the plot, but the steadfastness of our forces and their heroism failed Turkey’s plots Again ".

Also, during the mass sit-in, the co-chair of the TEV DEM, Gharib Hesso, spoke at the beginning of the Kurdish people for the victory of the Guerrilla in Garê Mountains, and confirmed that the participation of tens of thousands of Qamishlo residents is proof of the extent to which Turkey's policy has failed to target the Kurdish people and the ideas of the leader Abdullah Ocalan in his personality.

He said, "Today we are in front of a building of a branch of the United Nations. We ask you to move, and silence is nothing but evidence of participation in the conspiracy against leader Apo. Where are you from the treaties and charters, we condemn this silence."

He continued: "Leader Apo has turned an Imrali prisoner into a center for the creative intellectual revolution, and the public and solidarity stands calling for freedom and democracy, and hunger strikes in and outside prisons since the first day of the conspiracy, are all waiting for the United Nations and the international community to move and break the silence."

He added, "We are victorious due to the spread of the leader paradigma throughout the world. Civil society and human rights organizations are talking today about the freedom of the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and the exit of the signatures campaigns for the freedom of the leader Ocalan in Arab and European countries, all of which show the extent of the leader's victory and the failure of the international conspiracy."

The mass sit-in ended with chanting for the freedom of the leader, Abdullah Ocalan, and denouncing the international silence.
