The office indicated that the Prime Minister is committed to the timeframe specified in the road map that was agreed upon in Geneva.

After the formation of the Libyan government, it will be presented to Parliament to obtain confidence, according to the decisions taken in the political dialogue in Geneva.

In the meantime, he met the commander of the Libyan National Army, Field Marshal Khalifa Haftar - the new President of the Presidential Council, Muhammad Al-Manfi, in the city of Benghazi from Athens.

During the meeting, Haftar emphasized the army's support for the new presidential council and the national unity government, which was produced by the political dialogue, stressing their role in unifying institutions and bringing the country to the upcoming elections, next December.

In addition, upon his arrival in Libya, Muhammad Al-Manfi met with dozens of tribal leaders, academics and activists in the VIP lounge of Benina Airport in Benghazi.

This came after a UN-sponsored conference last week in which delegations of the Libyan parties chose four personalities to lead Libya ahead of the December elections.
