SOHR quoted sources as saying that a batch of Syrian mercenaries belonging to the Turkish occupation state is expected to arrive from Libya to Turkey and then to Syria, and the observatory estimated their number at 140 mercenaries.

And pointed out that a similar batch of mercenaries is being prepared for their exit from Syria to Turkey and from there to Libya.

The Observatory pointed out that "the return of mercenaries is matched by the exit of other mercenaries, meaning that international claims have not been implemented and the most prominent clauses of the Libyan-Libyan agreement which stipulates to full withdrawal of foreign forces from Libyan lands."

The Turkish occupation state continues to recruit mercenaries in the areas it occupies from Syria in order to send them to Libya and other areas in which it intervenes to achieve its ambitions and control the wealth there.

The Observatory pointed out that the recruitment process is taking place in Idlib, the northern countryside of Aleppo and occupied Afrin, through brokers who seduce people with a monthly salary estimated at only $ 400 under the pretext of "protecting facilities" in Libya.

On October 23, 2020, the Libyan parties reached an agreement to expel mercenaries from the country within a maximum period of 3 months, and this period ended on January 23 of this year, without the mercenaries leaving.
