A squadron of Russian warplanes took off in the early morning hours of the day and headed towards the Syrian Desert, where a new round of aerial bombardment began on the areas of the deployment of ISIS mercenaries, especially in the eastern countryside of Hama within the Aleppo-Hama-al-Raqqa triangle.

Six Russian planes took turns launching intensive raids, in an ongoing attempt to curb the intense and escalating ISIS activity despite the ground and air bombing and security campaigns in the Badia, according to what was reported by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

During the past 48 hours, Russian warplanes launched more than 150 air strikes on the Syrian Badia and the eastern Hama countryside, specifically the Athria axis and the Aleppo-Hama-al-Raqqa triangle, during which they killed at least 18 ISIS mercenaries.

In another context, violent clashes took place between the Damascus government forces and the mercenaries of the Turkish occupation, after midnight on Saturday - Sunday, on the al-Halabi and al-Ankawi axes in al-Ghab Plain northwest of Hama, according to SOHR.

The clashes resulted in the death of 5 members of the Damascus government, and at least 9 others were wounded, while 3 mercenaries of the Turkish occupation were killed and others were wounded.

SOHR reported on Saturday that 4 members of the Damascus government forces were killed, including an officer with the rank of first lieutenant, and 8 others were injured as a result of the lightning attack carried out by Turkish mercenaries on government forces' sites in the village of al-Fatatrah in the western countryside of Hama.
