Internal Security Forces affirms commitment to protect all Syrians

The General Command of the Internal Security Forces - NE Syria held the responsibility for the tensions in Al-Hasakah and Qamishlo to the Syrian government, stressing that its forces are committed to protecting all Syrians, and will not allow any attacks on the peoples' brotherhood.

This came through a statement issued by the GC of Security Forces - NE Syria, commenting on the recent tensions and said:

"The National Defense militia, continues working on the plan of sowing discord among the components of the region, especially after targeting our security checkpoints in the city of Qamishlo for some time and today in Al-Hasakah, and fabricating lies and seditions with the support of external parties."

"We, in the Internal Security Forces, as we affirm the unity of the Syrian blood and our commitment to protecting all Syrians of all affiliations. We hold the officials of the Syrian government in Al-Hasakah responsible for the tensions while we retain our right to legitimate defense of any danger or discord to strike brotherhood and national cohesion in our regions. "
