9th  batch of Syrian IDPs leave al-Hol Camp

Today, the ninth batch of the Syrian IDPs willing to leave the al-Hol Camp, that was made up of 67 Manbij families,  was carried by the camp management.

Such batches are being carried out after the Guarantors System came to an end, and in compliance with the decision passed by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria on October 9th, 2020, adopted in the meeting held between the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, Syria's Democratic Council, the SDC, Work and Social Affairs Body and that Interior Body, on October 5th, 2020. 

After all families willing to leave the camp were enrolled, and verified that they belong to the areas they eager to go to, the batch, that was made up of  236 persons of 67 families,  mostly women and children from Manbij, was carried out.

The Camp administration mentioned that new names are being enrolled for the next batches, without giving further details.

As usual, Internal Security Forces escort convoys that take IDPs to their areas until they reach destinations for security measures.   

The last of these was carried out on December 10th, 2020.

Worth to note that the toll of Syrian families living at the camp is 6032, made up of 21843, and  that of Iraqi ones 8277, made up of 30748 persons, foreign families 2565 made up of 8705 persons, that is totally 16874 families and 61296 persons including those left today.
