Tal Rif'at Massacre condemned by Autonomous Administration

A statement was released by the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria in reference to the massacre carried out at Tal Rif'at by the Turkish Occupation Forces that led to the martyrdom of three civilians and the injuries of others.

The statement reads as follows:

''trying to confirm the adoption of genocide and insistence on targeting civilians, and in pursuance to occupation schemes and to strike at the will of our people, Turkish Occupation State corresponding to the third annual anniversary of it's aggression on Afrin perpetrated another massacre in Tal Rif'at in the Shahba Canton that led to the martyrdom of three(two children and a woman) and the injury of nine others of Afrin IDPs following a the drone event of against a house in southern Kobani injuring a civilian, in addition to attacks carried out against Ain Issa and other places..     

Such attacks come in a time Turkish Occupation and mercenaries proceed to perpetrate appalling breaches in Afrin and other places, are clear declaration of continuation of genocidal plots and occupation especially civilians, for previously, on December 2019 children were targeted in Tal Rif'at  that led to martyrs and injuries.    

This escalation that coincides with the visit paid Turkish Defence Minister and Chief of Staff to Baghdad and Hewler, are not disconnected, as outcomes of this visit come to surface, the whole region is open to threats by Turkey as it's plots become clear in Iraq, Kurdistan Region, Syria and others.

We, in the Autonomous Administration of North and East Syria, strongly condemn such irresponsible attacks and the genocide system and targeting of civilians by the fascist Turkish State that encroaches all  international norms and conventions of relevance in Syria, we assure the necessity of an active and clear role to be played by active powers in Syria of which Russia and the U.S. and the necessity to stop Turkish actions.     

The Turkish orientation poses ignites the region and opens it to a military solution and eventually would impinge on the whole region. 

We confirm that our people won't spare efforts to defend itself and to adopt the legitimate right to protect it's gains and region by all available means. 

Such barbaric attacks aggravates the situation in Syria and undoubtedly pushes the region into anarchy.

Our condolence to martyrs relatives and best wishes for the injured to recover''.
