Unknown persons assassinated the co-chair and his vice in Tal- al-Shayer town, after kidnapping them, commenting on the incident, al-Hasakah Canton Council pointed out this crime primarily targets the women, who liberated themselves from ISIS grip, as well as to foil Autonomous Administration project that had proven its success.

Unidentified persons kidnapped all of the co-chair of the town council of Tal al-Shayer, affiliated to the Dashisha district, south of al-Hasakah canton, Saada Faisal al-Hermas and Vice-President Hind Latif al-Khudair, on Friday evening, by force of arms, and took them to an unknown destination before they were shot.

Commenting on the crime, al- Hasakah Canton Council issued, on Saturday, a statement denouncing the crime, which it described as shameful crime against the humanity, adding to the black record of terrorism, and aims to destabilize security and stability and spread terror among the people.

The statement read: "In a blatant assault on all of humanity, and in a heinous crime that is facing humanity, terrorist groups kidnapped, yesterday evening, the two comrades," Saada Faisal al-Hermas and Hind Latif al-Khudair, "who are the co-chair of the Tal al-Shayer Council and deputy in the council, and by force of arms. They took them to an unknown destination, and then shot them, causing their death directly.
