Citizens liken isolation to blocking sun with sieve attempt

Citizens denounced the isolation imposed on the leader Abdullah Ocalan, and emphasized that the leader represents a thought and belief that cannot be prevented from spreading through the implementation of isolation, which they likened to an attempt to "cover up the sun with a sieve."

Turkey has imposed tight isolation on the leader Abdullah Ocalan since his capture on February 15, 1999, in an international conspiracy in which America, Russia, Israel, most of the European Union countries and several African countries participated.

Isolation is met with widespread popular rejection in Kurdistan, Middle Eastern societies, movements and figures opposing authoritarian regimes.

In this context, the citizen Mohamed Abdel Rahim, a resident from Dêrik considered that the goal of isolation imposed on the leader is an attempt to encircle the opportunities for developing "the will, thought and free life in the person of Leader Ocalan."

Abdel Rahim noted that the leader Abdullah Ocalan proposed the democratic nation project to solve the crises that are exacerbating in the Middle East as a result of national and capitalist regimes, and said: "One of the fruits of the democratic nation's project is the Autonomous Administration in North and East Syria, through which all components practice their rituals, beliefs and learn their mother language."

Abdel Rahim likened the isolation imposed on the leader to trying to cover up the sun with a sieve. He said: "The Leader Ocalan is not a person, but thought and belief."

Abdel Rahim stressed that opposing isolation is a "humanitarian and moral duty, and everyone must do their duty until the end of isolation, and it is the duty of peoples, human rights and humanitarian organizations defending freedoms and yearning of democracy and peace to struggle against this isolation, and the Kurdish people must be at the forefront of sacrifice and resistance in the face of this isolation."

For her part, Wafaa Ali explained that the main goal of isolation imposed on the Leader Abdullah Ocalan "is to dismantle and disperse the peoples of the region by striking the democratic nation project that calls for the peoples' fraternity in the region. She continued: "The leader united the peoples in the region and established a free thought and administration among the peoples and components of the region."

Wafaa Ali believed that: "The solidarity of peoples is sufficient to lift and end the isolation."
