According to the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights, the SOHR, three Russian fighter jets carried out the attacks alternately, on posts held by ISIS mercenary groups, in the in the Hama-Raqqa-Aleppo triangle, as from morning up to date, 35 raids have been carried out, as Russian UAVs hover intensively over the area in the Syrian Desert in pursuance of the mercenary groups.

This comes after repeated attacks carried out by ISIS mercenary groups, present in the region, on convoys of the Syrian Government Forces that were inflicted with heavy losses.

Though ISIS mercenary groups were defeated by the Syrian Government Forces, the SDF, in North and East Syria, ISIS is still active in the vast Syrian Desert that extends from eastern rural Homs to the Syrian -Iraqi border, as Syrian Government Forces are impotent to stand up to ISIS mercenary groups in spite of Russian and Iranian support.
