Co-chair of UOI in Manbij: Will of peoples is neither broken nor defeated

The co-chair of the Union of Intellectuals in the city of Manbij and its countryside, Ahmed Al-Yousef, said that the Turkish state spots any opportunity to expand at the expense of the Syrians in the Syrian territories since the outbreak of its popular uprising in 2011, and he stressed that the people's will is not broken and cannot be defeated.

Al-Yousef's comments came on the ongoing Turkish attacks on separate areas of northeast Syria, in a statement to ANHA's agency.

He said, "The Turkish state's ultimate objective is to colonize further Syrian lands. History bears witness to all the Turkish interventions and taking over Syria's Iskenderun. Now, it is trying to annex other regions to its alleged empires."

In addition, Ahmed Al-Youssef believes that Turkey seeks to plunder the wealth of the Syrian people, and to revive the Ottoman illusions.

He noted in this context, "The components of the northeast Syria all stand side by side against the blatant aggression territories, as they belong to all Syrians regardless of their religions and ethnics, so all components will counter the occupation with all available capabilities. "

Al-Yousef called on the components to be interdependent and to realize the political reality, stressing that "the will of the people is not broken and cannot be defeated."
