Manbij's villagers: We to remain resistant in face of the Turkish shelling

The Turkish occupation army and its affiliated mercenaries continue shelling the northern and western villages of Manbij on an almost daily basis, in violation of all agreements and covenants with the Russian side.

In this context, ANHA's agency met with a number of villagers. Ahmed Al-Khalaf who comes from Al-Jatt, 20 km away from Manbij, on the northern side. We do not abandon our homes despite the brutal indiscriminate shelling has subsided."

Al-Khalaf pointed out: "We our lands on the other side are under the control of the Turkish occupation and its mercenaries, but we cannot return because the mercenaries accuse us of flimsy charges."

"We reject this barbaric shelling on our areas; all the violations that the occupation and its mercenaries carry out against us, and we will not surrender to defend our lands, and we support  the Manbij Military Council forces because they protect our land."

For her part, Fatima Al-Ahmad from Al-Hushiriya, 22 km on the line separating the forces of the Manbij Military Council and the mercenaries of the Euphrates Shield, said, "We reject the Turkish occupation attacks on our lands, and say enough for the occupation of the Syrian lands."

Fatima added, "Shelling rises fear and terror in our children's hearts, so we fear for them during the intensification of the Turkish shelling, where should we go ourselves from the Turkish shelling that does not distinguish between them."

At the end of her speech, Fatima indicated that they only want safety and stability, and to live in their homes in peace, and they will remain steadfast until their last breath."
