 In commemoration of the sacrifices of the martyrs in Al-Hasakah canton, the People's Protection Units and Women (YPG, YPJ) held a meeting in the city in the presence of more than "400" of the families of the martyrs.

The units organized a meeting for the families of the martyrs  in Al-Hasakah canton.

 More than "400" from the families of the martyrs, and members of all the military and city institutions in the district, in addition to the Syriac Military Council attended the meeting.

 The meeting began with a minute of silence, followed by a speech by the co-chair of the Military Council in Al-Hasakah Canton, Albin Haroun, who welcomed the families of all martyrs and said, "We pledge to all the families of our martyrs to follow the path of our martyrs until victory and freedom."

 "We hope that this year becomes year of victories for all the northeast Syria, liberate our lands from the Turkish occupation," she added.

Dalil Jarif for his part spoke on behalf of the General Command in the People's Protection Units, and said, "The mothers of the martyrs  and humanity, sacrificed a piece of their lives in order to liberate the region from the occupiers."

He indicated that they will defend the martyrs sacrifices and hold the occupier and the enemies of humanity accountable for the violations they committed against the peoples of northeast Syria.

He demanded that all the peoples to stand with their military forces from the People's Protection Units and Women, and the Syrian Democratic Forces, until freedom is achieved and all occupied lands are liberated.

 For her part,  Zainab Murad, who spoke on behalf of the Al-Hasakah canton council condemned the Turkish attacks aimed at fighting between the components of the region by the Turkish occupier with its mercenaries, the so-called "Syrian National Army."

The meeting ended with the recitation of patriotic and folk songs by the Martyr Zilan group in the district of Darbasiyah.

 It is reported that the meetings for the families of the martyrs will continue in the district until all families are invited.
